Misschien worden er in uw school geen schaakactiviteiten ingericht? Of misschien krijgt u er gewoon niet genoeg van? Of misschien lijkt het u wel wat om zelf lessen te geven?<\/p>\n

Geen probleem. Wij organiseren namelijk verschillende soorten schaakateliers: enerzijds, ateliers voor de jeugd (in samenwerking met de schaakkring van Brasschaat) en, anderzijds, ateliers voor jeugdleiders in spe.<\/p>\n

De ateliers voor de jeugd<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sinds 1 oktober 2006 zijn onze ‘stappen’-ateliers (die gebaseerd zijn op de Stappenmethode van Cor van Wijgerden en Rob Brunia) een onderdeel van het jeugdbeleid van de schaakkring van Brasschaat geworden. \u00c9\u00e9n atelier omvat 10 lessen. Die gaan door op de zondagen buiten de schoolvakanties en de examenperiodes en dit tussen 10 en 12 uur.<\/p>\n

De samenwerking met de schaakclub van Brasschaat biedt meerdere voordelen. In de eerste plaats krijgen de jonge spelertjes heel veel speelgelegenheid : een absolute noodzaak voor wie de theoretische kennis in praktische schaakvaardigheid wil omzetten. Die partijen worden overigens door de lesgevers van Brasschaat gevolgd, zodat de spelers individuele tips kunnen krijgen om hun spelniveau te verhogen. Tot slot zullen jongeren nooit op hun honger blijven zitten. Er wordt op alle niveaus les gegeven en indien wenselijk kunnen er zelfs ’thema’-ateliers (zie hieronder) worden georganiseerd.<\/p>\n

De ateliers ‘jeugdleider’<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2005 organiseerden wij in samenwerking met de Vlaamse Schaakfederatie en de Schaakliga Antwerpen een atelier jeugdleider. Daar werd aan de cursisten een basisopleiding schaakpedagogiek gegeven, zodat de cursisten met meer zekerheid en op een effici\u00ebnte manier jongeren schaaklessen kunnen geven. Zij die slaagden voor het examen kregen meteen ook de titel ‘VSF-schaakinstructeur’. Als de vraag groot genoeg is, willen wij opnieuw het nodige doen om een dergelijke cursus in te richten.<\/p>\n
